Bromeliads

My Latest Obsession

I have only recently discovered bromeliads and am building up my collection. They are so easy to look after, they don’t require a lot of water and propagation is so easy. They seem to be well suited to dry, shady areas under our many gum trees.

I have not set aside a special area for the bromeliads, but have incorporated them into existing gardens. As I swap pups with friends and discover new varieties in visits to nurseries, my collection will grow.
